It's been out for a little over a week, but I've only just noticed it. There's an expansion pack for Lara Croft: Guardian of Light that lets you play as Kain and Raziel. It's no sequel to Defiance, but I'll take what I can get.

Damn, for a second I thought "HAVE THEY MADE A WILLOW GAME FINALLY?"

/sniff

I loved that movie and the old side scroller, while fun and good for it's time... Could be greatly improved and expanded on.

Fin Raziel FTW
Unfortunately I doubt we will ever see another Kain game, which is a shame. I do think they screwed up the story somewhat with all the time-hopping, but the evil cunt that was Kain always made up for it, Simon Templeman seemed to have been born for that role.
Do they actually have proper voices or are they just model swaps? Does Kain sound like Lara or is Raziel the girly one?

Even if they gave the manly voice to Raziel he would still be the girl out of the two of them.

My thoughts exactly.

Have you read the sequels, co-authored by George Lucas? They're pretty good actually.

I miss Madmartigan. One of the few times Val Kilmer totally kicked ass.

I wasn't even aware that any books were involved, but I'll certainly look for them.

These games are actually my biggest "miss" of the last 2 decades, I don't own them and I doubt I can lay my hands on them to play them. I always wanted to, as well, not sure why I never bought them. Ooh shiny...

I think the shinies might have something to do with why you missed them. ;) They have great characters with them, and it had potential, but they did kinda screw it up a bit with the time travelling imho (typical issues you have with any time travelling story, contradictions and such like).

I'm actually not sure if I could really recommend them tbh, I loved them but it always seemed to be a case of the games having tons of potential it never quite achieved. Not sure if it was either a case of trying to do too much and failing or not being given enough time and/or budget to do it justice.
