From my 2010 experience, being in city under a heat wave and with the air so thick, you can cut it, really, really sucks. Especially without an air conditioner or even a fan.
You just know you're on a russian website when the first thing you see is the logo depicting two communist-era tenant blocks, an orthodox church and (very likely nuclear) electric power plant cooling towers. Plus a monument to a sparkler in the middle.
Their tourist board has really got their work cut out for them
