Hey there, how have you been, haven’t seen you in a while.
With The Battle of The Games getting all of the attention, I just couldn’t find a place for myself. Not mention all of the kick-ass games that I couldn’t find a place for. Now that the BOTG is almost over (still two hours left to vote for Chronicles of Riddick or Torchlight), I’m back on the normal GOG.com schedule. I know you missed me--I’m your favorite Weekend Promo. This weekend I’m offering you 19 games from Strategy First, including Jagged Alliance games, Darkstar One, Flatout, and Patrician 3, with a nice cool 50% discount.

Until Monday, you can grab three fantastic titles from the critically acclaimed series of turn-based tactical combat, including Jagged Alliance, Jagged Alliance Deadly Games, Jagged Alliance 2.

You can also get on board of Darkstar One, a space action-adventure game with vivid graphics, an enthralling storyline, and freedom of exploration. You take control of the titular Darkstar One, a ship with a huge mystery hidden inside of it. You will surely decide the fate of the galaxy, but will you be the hero or the bane of it? Pick it up for 50% off, this weekend only on GOG.com.

FlatOut is one of those racing games where you'll appreciate getting your car wrecked more than actually driving it. The game offers you dirt track races, demolition derby in the arenas, and FlatOut's special "Ragdoll Olympics". Crashing your car has never been so fun, especially for only $2.99.

Ghost Master will surely deliver a few laughs when you’ll try to frighten the mortals out of town in this hilarious tactical and adventure game. Medieval-based Patrician 3 and Port Royale 2 require a more managerial and economical approach. 50% off on those games is definitely cost-effective.

Check out the promo page for more great games from Strategy First, such as the Diablo-esque action RPG Sacred Gold or Disciples 2 Gold, which is an eerie mix of fantasy RPG and battle strategy.
Why is JA2: Wildfire not in this promo?

Roslavets: Why is JA2: Wildfire not in this promo?
It's not published by Strategy First (Never was as I recall, and it was also developed by another company).
We had the same promo on last weekend of January 2012 (I got all I wanted then so I remember). Isn't half a year a bit too early to repeat it? There are some other games that could be discounted after all...
I've got to get it out there: Flatout is one of the very few games where the censorship in the German version actually made the game even better :)

What is censored in the German version?

Lexor: Great promo - best opportunity to get Disciples if there is still somebody who does not have them. Hidden gem here is Ghost Master.
Oh well might as well grab it this time then (seems to be some love for it on the forums), and Jagged Alliance since I have the other two here. Even though I bought one of these Strategy first promos they are still managing to eek out a few dollars out of me :)

To get it a 12 rating instead of a 16, they replaced the drivers of the cars with crash dummies. Was a lot funnier I reckon.

There's some screenshots here: http://www.schnittberichte.com/schnittbericht.php?ID=3159

In fact, I heard about an unofficial patch that actually put the crash dummies into the EU version. Usually it's the other way around - we often have uncut patches to transform the German version into the EU one :-)

Edited for corrections: My apologies. I've spent the entire afternoon speaking and writing and screaming at useless people in German, I'm exhausted, and my English has gone haywire.

gameon: I'd trade Outcast (GOG) for a couple of $2.99 games in this promo.
LOL for 2 $2.99 games? so one cents cheaper than Outcast's price on GOG then? A bargain, especially as one day ago people could pick up Outcast for $2.49... seriously?

No need to get stressed about it. I'm currently in negotiation with several people. I was just throwing out another option (as Outcast is $6 now).

I may be getting Gothic 2 for it..... from GOG's price thats a $9.99 game, lol.

This does seem as a funnier game, will have to take a look for the dummies at some point.
Flatout is mine... I am in need of racing games :D
Nice promo, bought Dark Athena (not promo I know) and FlatOut.

For anyone interested those pinball games and helo sims are must haves too so now is your chance. ;o)
My starved purse thanks me for not wanting or already having games from this promo. :)
Is Flatout worth getting even if you have Flatout 2?....Or is it just too similar to bother.

Very minor thing but the link to Flatout doesn't work.

Patrician 3 looks a promising game.
