Maybe a little trip to the far north, then? In Cultures 1+2, an exploration-focused RTS series where you help a Viking tribe on they conquests around the world, you'll get the chance to cool off a bit before your brave warriors decide to invade some place near the equator.

Don't forget the newly released Gold Edition of Omerta: City of Gangsters, also discounted by 60%! Surely, many exciting shootouts wait ahead! But if the Valentine's Day massacre was still nod bloody and gory enough for you, Atari has you covered. There are few gangsters, but bucketfulls on bucketfulls of gore in and [url=http://www.gog.com/gamecard/blood_2_the_chosen_expansion]Blood 2: The Chosen, two gore-fest games that put many horror shooters to shame up to this day.

All those, and many, many more games are available 60% off this weekend. Don't forget to drop by Atari and Kalypso Mash-up promo page, and pick your favorites for less than half the regular price until Tuesday, April 15, at 3:59AM GMT.
Erm.. I've got the other Omerta w/ only 4 DLCs. Rather than the DLC, it would be great if I could turn in my existing Omerta for the gold edition at the same price as the 5th DLC pack.
Hmm, that's quite the "interesting" promo page. Apparently it blows up if it doesn't like your zoom setting (ctrl + scrollwheel). (Probably other promo pages do the same -- I just hadn't noticed before because I usually don't view them with firefox.)

He he he! You broke the css......
Seriously though, I think it's only a firefox problem because on chrome it's ok.

I love Atari games. Now after getting Port Royale I would like to see ''Sid Meiers Pirates'' one day on GOG!

Time to clear yet more items from my wishlist! Going to buy the Culture games. Only played the second one back in the day, but really loved it - and I'm not usually an RTS person. :) Looking forward to discovering the rest of this series.

Isn't that already on GOG, though? This includes the original Sid Meier's Pirates from 1987. :)

Sorry I wasn't clear. I meant the 2004 ''Sid Meier's Pirates'' from Atari and Firaxis.

The older ''Pirates!'' is from Microprose and I already have it. GREAT game. I still play it despite its age.

That's not quite the same thing. That's "zoom everything mode" which also works in firefox. But "zoom everything mode" is often worthless to me because by the time the text is big enough to be comfortably read by my eyes, the page no longer fits on my screen. So I've got firefox set to use "zoom text only mode" ("view/zoom/zoom text only" in firefox's menu). At the same time I've got IE set to "zoom everything mode". GOG's text (relative to page size) is big enough that it's fine in IE, and I usually use IE for GOG. But today I opened the promo page in firefox and saw it strangely broken.

rodrolliv: So Atari still exists as a company? Didn't they go bankrupt and sell the assets on auction?
Atari. I have fond memories of them, specifically with the Atari800XL as a computer. Course I've heard they made several mistakes (Proprietary hardware comes to mind), not that those same mistakes didn't stop apple from becoming big and popular.

Atari is mostly just a familiar name that another company uses now anymore. Kinda sad, I'd have liked to see them make something interesting for today's market. Imagine, the Atari Jaguar 360! Runs on par or better than the Wii-U! I'd get that over the Wii-U. The name Wii alone makes that entire console series just make me feel dirty. Yuck...

I look through the list of games and nothing I don't already have stands out as something I want to get. That might be too bad, or maybe I'm noticing how certain sets of games keeps going on sale more often than others. Hmmm...

Cultures 1+2 and Port Royale are now in my pocket. Lets cuddle the Vikings and sail the seas.

Attractive promo. Cultures are great.

phaolo: Same for KKND, can you do comparisons to other good games?

timppu: KKND Extreme is a pretty straightforward Command&Conquer RTS clone. [..]It is a pretty funny game thought IMHO.[..]
Thanks, +1 to you.

Can anyone else help on Independence War titles now?

EDIT: I think that I'll try IW2.
