the apple-inspired screenshot left-to-right slider (you know, the one under the screenshot thumbnails) is really uncomfortable. i have no idea how apple has managed to pull it off on the itunes for so long in the first place, i guess because people just got used to it and didn't care but the slider is truly atrocious.

first of all, there is no thumbnails taking over mouse-scroll event when the mouse hovers over the screenshots, but i understand that this could be an annoyance to people who only accidentally hover over the area and want to actually scroll down instead of left.

okay, then you could at least expect the slider to scroll over the area where you click like every sane slider on the internet, but no. it does not. you can't click on the empty area to move the slider there/ instead, you can only move it by first snatching the handle and then dragging it around.

fine, let's do this, there is no other option but to snatch the tiny handle - but it doesn't have any dummy hit-area around it and you have to click exactly in the tiny area occupied by the thin slider, which is incredibly annoying and gets even worse with higher resolutions.

please, do something with it, this is terrible

Why not simply use the keyboard (left arrow and right arrow) to browse screenshots?

i didn't know you could do that (i don't browse the screenshots in the full screen so i didn't think of that) but thanks, will definitely use that

however, this still doesn't change anything about the fact that the mouse slider is terrible and needs changing

You can also click-and-hold + drag left/right over that thumbnail bar to browse thumbnails (tested working in Firefox & Opera 25)
But using keyboard is good and faster like mrkgnao said. :)

When you hover your mouse over the main screenshot window, there should be arrows on the left and right sides that will let you navigate through the others. There's no need to touch the thumbnail slider at all.

@mikil, @jadegiant, i understand that this website has many other cool features as well, but this one with the scrollbar is broken. this is really not relevant
