Didn't I play a better version of that in Kingdom Hearts?
I thought he was gracious in addressing a criticism leveled against his game. He admitted it was imperfect, but that he thought his team did as well as they could.

I think it's clear from the many interviews he's given that Warren Spector is far more gracious and humble than most game developers. He's not tooting his own horn when he succeeds and not being offended and defensive when people level problems against his games.
