...worst licensed game I've ever played.
The game is good,but it is based on the movie Jackson's trilogy,and characters aren't similar to their counterparts,soundtrack doesn't contain epic themes of the movie,the story is simply ugly,with several mistakes (a dragon during the third age?Really?) and bland main characters (I don't remember their names too).

I liked it. Not the best game, but fun. Tastes are different, apparently.

Yes, story sucks.. but it a hack'n'slay game, so does not matter at all ;)

Fun game, decent loot, punchy combat, lame story.

The beginning of the game is not based on the movie trilogy at all, can't speak for the rest of it since I haven't played it all the way through yet.

The voice acting is decent, and the story is not bad if you're into lotr. Not a bad game, I'd say it's easily worth the $20 it normally goes for.

My tastes must be different from the OP ;)
