I haven't tried it yet, but be sure I will.

Oh please, enough with this "smartphone" bullshit: a fucking touch-screen IS NOT a gaming-suitable thing!

Pretty cool actually. Shame I don't have an Android phone.

I tried GemRB on my Nokia N900. It works fine with BG2, but I get tired pretty quickly on such a small screen. Controls are a bit awkward, but could be refined in future versions to be usable. The Infinity Engine games are among the PC games that could be adapted to touchscreen controls pretty easily.
PST is not yet completable, unless I'm mistaken. Which is a shame, because it would probably be great to play it on a smartphone, being dialog-heavy it would lend itself well to touchscreen controls.

It's masturbation, not gaming. I want to control the character on the screen, and you need a fucking controller for this. Touch-screen devices are just an enormous pile of shit, gaming-wise.
And I sincerely think that the industry is shooting itself in the balls going with all this social-casual-connected-instant-touch-broaderaudience-entertainment craze.

While I've not tried it (yet), having a (large, like a tablet) touchscreen to control a fixed camera RTS (like Dark Reign) always seemed like a "natural" way of playing such games. I can easily imagine taking the position of a General using a satellite camera and a touchscreen to issue commands and get an overview of the situation...
EDIT: Case in point, Battle for Wesnoth is very nice to play on a touchscreen.

Because Angry Birds has been such a huge failure? Look, it's like all input devices, it works for some games and not for others. My old C64 was a gaming machine and my EVO is 100s of times more powerful. Heck, it's more powerful than the actual first gaming machine I built.

You don't have to have played it to know what it is. I've never played Minecraft either, but I know what it is. Angry Birds is one of the most successful games of 2010, it's free on Android and they still rake in huge amounts of money from it monthly.
So assuming you haven't had your head obstinately stuck in the sand you know what it is and know why I said, touch screen works for some games. Hell, my joystick, while great for MW4, pretty much blows for Quake 4, and vice versa.

Only problem with touchscreen gaming (assuming they've not done the cheap way and just made an onscreen joystick & buttons) is that your controller obscures your display. Its useable but not what I'd call ideal
