I'm curious as to why tunngle, and not Kali. Am I right in assuming that this is more generic in nature, not tied to particular games which then have to be supported?

Darkenmal: You may not have your tunngle settings properly done.
Pretty sure I did.

Probably not, the way you described it.

michaelleung: I thought you meant I could play it ONLINE, like some sort of prison-made OnLive.
Whats that supposed to mean?

That's probably the difference. I was marveling at how Kali managed to not require further payments after all this time, and that would be the most likely explanation. Don't recall having used it myself.

I tried the free pay one.

120 people online with one game open.. its a joke.

Probably yes, if Kali and Hamachi work for me. Stop assuming things on my behalf please.

Probably not, if you haven't gone onto your router.

You have to fiddle with things on Tunngle.

Go on Tunngle and change your router TCP and UDP to 11155.

So yes I can assume.

Darkenmal: This service gets way too little attention, and i'm going to try and change that.

Tunngle allows you to use the lan function of a game.. or IPX and it allows you to play online against other people.

It's great, and its about to come out of beta soon, with a lot of new features planned.

And i'm not advertising because they want me to or anything, its just a good service.
Sounds like spam/advertising to me.

You start with the link to their site, then a description and then the great not yet existing features.

If you're referring to port forwarding, I have done that. I'm not an IT professional, but I know the basics, Mr Know It All. With all due respect to ZAX, it's hard to believe you're not getting paid for this.

You can carry on plugging for Tunngle, by all means. You're just going to end up looking foolish and breaking people's fanboy radars with this sort of self-gratifying tirade.

There is more then that you can do.

No need to be rude.

You know there is a slight possibility that you did something wrong, however slight, (we all know you are perfect) all that I was doing was that I was trying to help you out.

I wasn't trying to be rude; I was annoyed by your insistence on the fault being on my end, and tenaciously trying to prove that, when in fact, I didn't even ask for help. Anyway fair enough, that last post was overboard, so I apologize on that point.
you have to be careful with those programs like hamachi because when using them to play as lan you are allowing the other computer to access yours and it would be worse if the other computer is infected or something

there are tons of apps which is good to play certain games like hamachi, game ranger, garena
etc
If somebody wants to try out Fantasy Wars (I bought it from here) MP mode, just leave a message here.
