Rage is out now. Doesn't that mean that IdTech 4 source has gone public? I haven't heard anything about it.

No, it means they're back to working on the source for its release. Presumably verifying that it's in usable form and hiding the most embarrassing kludges in the source tree. Removing comments about making various people their bitches.

You know typical clean up.
