It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Basically you pick two things from a similar category that rival eachother and discuss why one is better than the other. We can switch it up every so often just nothing to abstract, then again it doesn't really matter. I guess I will start it off with something easy and over discussed...

MAC vs. PC-Round 1...
They are both good in their own field. Next.

(btw, this is a dangerous path you thread. A flame war might be just around the corner. Fortunately, gog is proving to be immune to that =)

nmillar: Fallout vs S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
Wast... FALLOUT!;P

Wizardry vs Might & Magic.
(I'd pick wiz 7 vs MM 3-4-5... Comparing the whole serie is, er... beyond me)

Wizardry ? Better character creation and management. The pleasure of minimaxing. Many options. Sometimes boring grinding, repetitive turn based fights. Tough beggining. Somewhat buggy games. Good fantasy story with aliens and robots.

M&M ? Simple commands, easy char creation (and rather limited too). Really horrible inventory system. Smooth leveling. Nice dongeon design. Stupid fantasy story with aliens and robots.

I'd say WIzardry wins as being the most ambitious serie of the 2.

Flashback vs Out of this world (aka Another World) ?
I know I'm partially to blame for this, but rooshandark8 probably meant we should write why we think that one is better than the other, and not just pick and continue. With my first post, I wanted to dodge a bullet, not break his concept.

So to rectify myself, here is my thoughts on the Thief versus Hitman:

If I had to pick, I'd choose Thief. The atmosphere in the game is so thick you can hardly breathe for fear of exposing yourself, whereas hitman has a more sophisticated, but less immersive approach (IMO). They both have full marks in their own field, but with thief there really is nothing better than positioning yourself to the exact place where you can silently put out four torches, knock a guard out, and steal that gold and climb a rope arrow before the patrol even realises what's going on. Then you run past them and throw a flashbang on the ground, laughing as your pursuers cover their eyes and cry in pain. And the cutscenes are almost nothing more than a slideshow, but somehow you play through the level just to see the next one.
No no no you guys are doing it wrong
For example to my starting example
1PC cause it's not ass backwards like a Mac.
2PC because it is cheaper, faster, and more customizable than a Mac.
3PC because you don't have to drag a file to the recycle bin like a mongoloid to delete something.
Than when it starts to get abstart
you can go
Goku vs. Superman
1 Superman, at least he doesn't scream like he's just caught his old fella in his trouser zip every time he has to fight someone
than
Visit to the Doctor vs Visit to the Dentist
1Dentist. He at least doesn't removes your innards.

Give reason why u say that and pick some different ones they donot have to be game related
And yes titanium but not too much detail its supposed to be fun and short :)

Oh, i see, well, with Fallout [1] vs Stalker, it's all about the small things, the games are miles away, with the only connection being some radiation [excuse the rhyme]. So, Fallout has less bugs and holes, and didn't age as fast as STALKER will. [3d is progeric]. The rest might be personal taste. ;) Hope that's a sufficient explanation.
well, er... then...

WIzardry vs MM
WIzardry wins, because if in both you can spend hours rerolling your party in WIzardry it actually matters.
Wizardry wins because you don't just kill alien robots with your big axes in a fantasy world. You understand why you kill alien robots with your big axes in a fantasy world.

More in the mood ?

still Flashback vs Another world, (can't think of a non game related fight now :p.)

I apologise beforehand for the flames:
The first is personal opinion and the second have counter-arguments not based on pure cold hardware specs, so I'm not going to bother with those. But 3 is pure misinformation.
3: Command-delete (or command-backspace going by Windows naming and to differentiate the key from the other delete key which is called delete in Windows as well).

As for Flashback and Another World, I haven't played either and thus do not have an opinion.
you needed to say another one. as you didnt, i will

Forza vs Gran Turismo
Midnight Club vs.Need for Speed. Go.

JudasIscariot: Midnight Club vs.Need for Speed. Go.
