I have heard good things about this game but haven't tried it yet. I am downloading it now and wanted to let the community know about it.

here is a little description I got from the steam page

Ah, cool. Vindictus annoys me because it has a lot of potential. It looks good and the combat is probably the best in any MMO period, but at the same time it becomes incredibly repetitive as you're forced to do the same instances over and over, and combat often lacks a bit of variety as well. That being said, it's definitely worth playing and it is still fun. In fact, I think I might reinstall it (can you link your Steam account to your Nexon account or does it create a new account using your Steam credentials?).

Its the free mmo?
If so can you put link direct to steam download since its not available in my region.

I have a link on top of my first post, I am not sure about linking your nexon account. I will post what happens after I finish downloading.

Yes it does ask for a nexon account so it looks like you can use your old one and for new players they need to create an account.

Hence, my "typical" comment - chances of Valve ever negotiating for a Japan release are zero. Hell, we're stilling waiting for them to release a game they were supposed to have released a few days ago - even the publisher doesn't know what's going on!

But I'm not likely to play it in the form it's currently available in Japan as anyhow. Simply because playing MMOs in Japanese is not fun. Played my fair share to learn that.

These MMO's are usually handled by different publishers in different Regions. Discussing them is probably quite the pain.

Japan's release is handled by Nexon Korea, as is (partially) the US release. But as can be seen by the game we are still waiting on a release for, even when Valve do have an agreement in place with a Japanese publisher for a Japan specific version of a game, they couldn't care less about actually upholding their part of deal by, you know, actually releasing the game.

Not sure if it's playable in Germany with the workaround though. Doesn't really interest me like that. Normally there'd only be a problem with paying for games.

Interesting it lets you download it if you follow jamiskis link. Probably won't let you play it though. I'm downloading it now in Australia. We'll see if it lets me in, doubt it.
