It is a great game. Probably the best to start of the paradox titles.

Don't you think that heavily economy based Vic 2 is a little to hard for start? :)

I always thought that EU series is much better for paradox beginners.

I never really gotten into EU 2. And when EU 3 came out I was already a Vic veteran. But I always thought EU was more complicated.

Brazil as a starter country in Vic 2 will do nicely.

I would recommend Crusader Kings 2 as a good starting title, and tell people to wait with Vic until they at least have some Paradox experience. I always found Vic to be the hardest ones to play, due to the incredible amount of details that can be found in them. That is also why I love them, because they make you feel like you really are the master of your nation.
Paradox Interactive. Great games.
HOI series, EU series, Vic series...
Now Rome and Sengoku are imho a little bit disappointing....
Sorry...just my 2 cents...I started with Hearts of Iron 1 (yeah, that one with the "nice" tech-tree :D). Too bad they have their own shop - so probably none of those titles here.
