BrakoVonDoom: But would my system be able to play Black & White ? And I promise not to make you aware when I'm playing B&W so you don't feel cheated on.

Might bic my head in a bit...

What about wrestling games? I sued to love WWF No Mercy on the Nintendo 64, but since then the games went pants. Plus I only like to create my own wrestler, I can't actually stand the TV programs of the wrestlers featured, but always loved the N64 games.
Black and White is an old game, and it never had big requirements:

Windows 95/Mac OS 8.6, Pentium II 350MHz/G3 333MHz, 64MB RAM (96 on Mac), 8MB video RAM (4MB will suffice and "on board" will work, slow), 8X CD-ROM, 600MB (750 with Direct X and save)

So yes, you can play it :)

EDIT: On second thought, you probably could not. Black and White is an old game, and it doesn't work on newer systems. Most games on GOG, including Vampire, aren't supposed to work on newer systems, because of how old they are. So GOG modifies them to make them functional on newer PCs.

Keep in mind that GOG is the only DD site that does this with all their games, so be careful when buying older games from other DD sites, because they usually don't work.

Yeah I'll probably stick to buying online games from this site to be honest.

Due to this vampire game I need a good horror movie to watch now. Aside from Hammer Horror Dracs, the rest of the vamp movies are pants.

LATE EDIT :

Is there any mods I should install for Vmapire Masq? That was another thing that seemed groovy about PC games, but heard you have to be careful.

LATE LATE EDIT :

How do you revive dead team mates in VMR? 06:06am day light is arrising *GASP* To bed do-eth I seeky some sleepy. Dust though wish to give a sneaky peak of thine norks, m'lady ?

Just a thread bump to see if anyone knows if you can revive your dead team mates. I tried using google but most searches come back with the Bloodline thing.

Straight from the manual:

"If one of your characters is damaged until s/he no longer has any Health, then that character will fall into a state of torpor, which is a death like sleep. In order to bring your character out of torpor, you will need another character to use the Awaken Discipline on the fallen comrade. The Awaken Discipline is available for use by acquiring scrolls or learning the Discipline by spending experience. When you have the Awaken Discipline selected, simply right click on the portrait of your fallen comrade, and your character will use this Discipline. If your character is successful, then your fallen friend will Awaken with a low blood supply and a minimal amount of Health.

If all of your characters fall into a state of torpor, then the game is over, and you will need to load from an older saved game."
Cheers man.

Thats what I miss from disc games. Atleast you can go to the crapper and have a read of the manual.

Didn't you download the manual too? It's free with the game:)

But you can't read it on the crapper, unless you're using a notebook. ;)

You can use a Kindle :))
Yeah my PC is on one of those wheely table things, but even I would feel awkward using a PC whilst doing the poop poop.

Also. Never shave your tongue, even if it has a funny colour.

Enjoying the game even if it is very clunky to play. I like that I can just sit back and use the mouse for everything though. All that keyboard and mouse combo crap is pants when trying to play WoW.
Chaps,

What does it mean when people say to make cheats work on PC games you need a command console ? On 360 you can't cheat due to the achievement system, but it would be nice just to spawn certain items rather than being stuck with chance of progress.

I visited the VMR forums and they actually have a section on this question but it needs to be simplified for thickos like myself, and that particular forum seems to be dead.

Any help on this topic ?

On PC games you can cheat only in single-player. Usually you just press "enter" then write in the code.

I think VMR has a different cheat system to every other PC game, by the way people were saying in the forum anyways.

Cheers man, but like I said I don't know what the command console means or adding it after exe.
