So this has been doing the rounds, promoting a TF2 flavoured tie-in to be shown on Adult Swim. Meet the Pyro, surely? Then you see the Pyro in the log-in page.

Why do I think it's something more than the premier of a trailer?

I'm all for it. The TF2 characters simply ooze personality, and they would fit in with the zaniness that is Adult Swim extremely well.

It would probably be some shitty, low-budget live action crap, if recent Adult Swim shows are any indication. God knows it takes 2 years to make a season of Venture Brothers, but they crap out new live action "shows" seemingly every week.

This could be good, I've always wondered what an animated series based on the TF2 characters would be like. And if it sucks, I'll pretend it never happened.

I love Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Squidbillies, Tom Goes to the Mayor, Venture Brothers (somewhat), and probably one or two other animated shows I can't think of right now. (Not Superjail, though; that's genuinely disturbing.)

TF2: the Series? Could be interesting. Maybe a Gmod-type thing (hopefully less random, than, say, Idiot Box).

I watch Adult Swim for Metalocalypse which is now showing its 4th season and some animes

also yeah I think if they are going to make a series it is a great idea to use the GMOD

If they're not going to make it a regularly 3D-rendered show, they will likely use Source Filmmaker rather than pose ragdolls in Garry's Mod.
