Yeah, I'm going to have to throw my hat in with Blizzard on this one, Valve doesn't deserve the DOTA trademark.

Of course, if they keep it but don't enforce it, I don't really care that they have it. Sort of like Amazon's patent on one-click checkouts, which was picked up to prevent patent trolls from suing them.

Well, the two companies don't like each other since the days when Sierra was publishing Valve's games (Sierra and Blizzard are owned by Vivendi).

Ah yes, Sierra when it was owned by vivendi before the merger with Activision published Valve's old titles like Half Life 1. I've still got my half life WON installation that requires some Sierra programs to be installed, that do nothing but if they're removed HL doesnt run. :D

It proves that the US legal system isn't adequately equipped to handle advances in computing. Pretty much all rulings regarding technology reveal a fundamental misunderstanding of what software is and how it performs.

They're not Valve fanboys because Valve got to do what they wanted to get first. They're just being spoiled brats.
