RafCaj: Since this question relates to many games, I decided to post it here at the general forum.

I've got a huge issue with adventure games. I can love a good one, but by the time I'm forced to use a walkthrough I simply get infuriated and stop playing the game.

I know there are some crazy puzzles out there that are nearly impossible to figure out alone (stupid inflated duck at the subway in The Longest Journey), so I limit myself to check a walkthrough 2 times maximum, one more time and it's out.

The thing is, does anyone else feels like this? Do you people can complete most of your adventure games without checking for answers onlne? Take Grim Fandango for example... could anyone beat this game alone? This must be the hardest one I've ever played.
I completed Ether One before the game was even out for general purchase anywhere :) I even had one of the developers offer me the solution to a particularly tricky puzzle but I declined :)
