I just read this article on the New York Times.

It is about the large amount of tax breaks that video game companies are able to get in the US because of our crazy tax system (seriously, it is way too confusing...). I would say the paper is definitely not happy about it, they complain about Dead Space 2 for the first page of the article before they really get into the actual reasons for the tax breaks and such.

Still, I bet game companies pay more taxes to the government than banks and corporations ever did.
