I can get behind getting Joe Pesci and Robert DeNiro involved, along with Mark Wahlberg. Adding something about antique dealers in New York... too vague to understand what that implies, so we'll see. But this is what really pisses me off...

So in other words, these people didn't even play the fucking game, or at least consult either the people who made it or people who actually played it.

Also, David O. Russell is directing. The David O. Russell that manages to get in a fight with the cast and crew in almost every movie he's done.

Given how most video game movies turn out, there's a possibility that the film having nothing to do with the game at all might be for the best.

I thought the game was a movie... Seriously, the game itself could pass for a movie.

Yeah, I agree, and as such, I don't see any need whatsoever for a movie. I bought Uncharted 2 because it's the best entry in the action-adventure movie genre that I've seen in a while. Kind of how The Mummy Returns was another great example of the genre.

I think this is how Action Adventure movies should go... become PS3 or 360 games so that the movie becomes interactive. Though The Uncharted series has set a high bar.
