It seems that GamersGate recently (maybe a month or two ago) switched to an outside support tracker. Unfortunately it went quite in the spirit of their Summer sale.

A question to the audience - where do you submit issues of the issue tracker? Who watches the watchmen?

Considering my recent experience with GamersGate support, I can't say I was exactly thrilled with it. An error in the system or trying out a new system wouldn't surprise me at all, whatever they were doing obviously wasn't working very well.
Can someone dumb this down for me?

Your car broke down, two miles from the used car salesman? When you get back, the whole place is deserted and completely empty.

You get yer shotgun out and start drinking that xxx brand of cheap-ass moonshine. Either yer brain starts crapping out, or random passersby.
GamersGate used to have an E-mail support system. As such systems do, it became an impediment as the company acquired enough customers to make it a going business.

They converted to using a hosted helpdesk system called Kayako, back in September. At the time, GamersGate did post this warning: "We are trying out a new support system and there may be delays and strange things happening with the support."

Sounds like they set up a free trial of Kayako, maybe didn't like it, didn't pay for it, and now they don't have it anymore. But their support link still goes to the now-blocked Kayako page.

They migrated their support site to a third-party service but their contract with them has expired.

Bonus points are awarded if the only way of notifying them about the support site being down is through the support site. :D

EDIT: and of course two other people suddenly replied in the time it took me to write this. :)

Now you can complain to it about it.
And I asked them to remove my account from there, which they created without asking me, but they still haven't. FFS!
