Besides what's wrong with Privateer 2? Except that Dani Bhere's voice starts off sexy then really starts to grate after the 1000th time you hear her say the same thing - it's like being married to her!

Ultima 9 is like a parody of clasic Ultima. A Britannia theme park.

Back in the days the hardware requirements for this game were so high no one played it. Even on muscular machines it sometimes ran choppy and buggy. It was buggy all around. And the story sucked. And it didn't have such great graphics and gameplay to begin with.

Still, as a die-hard fan, I played it quite a lot when I finally got a machine that could run it fine (happens to be the machine I'm on, which I bought bout 3 years ago). And it was still buggy all around. Heh. I've always been under the impression I'm the only one who likes Master of Orion 3.

Sometimes people say a game is terrible because the previous games were pure awesomeness, even if said game isn't all that bad. Happened with Fallout 3, happened with Master of Orion 3. It's not Super-Mario-Bros-good, but it's definitely not worth 2 stars.

I have serious question here, that logic can be applied to Empire Earth 3 right? During the sale few weeks ago i was tempted to purchase it, but in the end i didn't because the reviews were so bad.

That´s the reason why I read the reviews most of the time after I played the game for my self. I hate to get into a game with the knowledge that most people don´t like it or get disapointed by a game where everybody said that it is awesome. I most likely watch uncommented gameplay videos if I´m not sure if I should try a certain game.
