Hi everyone is there a way to display the prices in UK sterling as opposed to dollars?

I have run a search and couldn't find an answer and cannot find an option anywhere to enable. It must be available as when I followed the Witcher 2 promo link it showed the cost in UK pounds.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Matt

All prices have and probably always will be in dollars, the witcher 2 was a special case.
Witcher 2 was an exception as it was a new game, for all the other games the prices are the same and in dollars worldwide.

8. Same game, same price, no matter where you're from!
We believe that all gamers around the world should be treated equally. Therefore GOG.com is available to everyone, everywhere, and we offer the same prices to gamers from all countries. Getting the worldwide rights to the games takes some extra effort on our part, but we think it's worth the reward of opening up our site to the world.
Everything on the site, with the aforementioned exception of the Witcher 2, is only listed in US dollars.
I don't think changing the currency is avaible, as all games on GOG.com are $5.99 or $9.99, and these prices are the same everywhere in the world.
The Witcher 2 is a special case, as it has different prices (like in the USa it costs $30, but in the UK you have to pay in Pounds, and in Europe, we have to pay €30). But this is unusual, as the other games' price is same everyweher in the World.
Regional pricing will never be used to anyone's benefit but the store's and / or more likely the publisher's.

It was an exception as CDPR have a deal with publisher Namco Bandai. Just because the publisher is about the worst kind of cunt in an industry full of cunts doesn't mean they can price it however they like on GOG.
Ok guys thanks for all your helpful and quick responses.

A bit OTT there mate, I don't really appreciate that sort of language in a forum.

Well, you'll just have to deal with it then. All sorts of English words are used here.

There's nothing to deal with.

I felt his comment was a bit inappropriate and said so thats it.

He is of course entitled to express himself as he chooses as am I.

I think Pemptus' point was that if you get easily offended by language, you may have chosen the wrong forum. The audience here is, on average, quite a bit older than on most other internet forums. As a result, the language used reflects this. People here don't tend to moderate their language because "kids might read it". So if you're going to complain every time someone uses a curse word, well, you'll have a lot of complaining to do.

This is not to say that everyone swear and curse all the time here. It's just that when people here have a forceful opinion on something, they tend to let that show in the way they phrase said opinion.

Given that you're new to the forum, it's understandable that you might react in such a manner, but don't expect an established community to change its ways because you suddenly show up and say so.

That said, welcome to the forum. If you can stomach the language, it really is a great community.
