StingingVelvet: AC2 was down from $60 to $25 in like a month on amazon.
I have seen Prince of Persia, HAWX2, Splinter Cell Conviction and Silent Hunter 5 all hovering just outside bargain bin price on various websites. It's sales that matter and judging by the collapse in retail prices (DD isn't affected as bad) Ubisoft's DRM has been an unmitigated disaster. I'm looking forward to picking up AC: Brotherhood in May for about €15.

booger: Just pointing this out. http://www.gog.com/en/page/tw2v2
It says that Gog has never had DRM and ain't gonna put it on this version. I really hope when they release this they also put the Witcher up as well. I have bought the witcher like 5 times and something all ways happens to the game grrrrrrr so I deffinitly will buy it from here if it comes to Gog.

Agreed about GoG selling the WItcher 2 here DRM-free.
I've already placed my pre-order for it and wouldn't buy it from anywhere else. Part of the thing is if you buy it from GoG it shows companies that there is money to be made from DRM-free games that are new, and not just ones that have more or less out lived their piracy days. The more people that buy this DRM version, the more the companies will start questioning putting DRM in their games. And if (granted its a stretch) the GoG's DRM version is the one the sells the most copies you can sure bet that the major companies will really take notice to this.
Everyone here has mentioned that they hate DRM but want to play Witcher 2? Then please put your money where your mouth is, buy this DRM-free version and not a DRMed version from some other online distributer. Let others know about this copy, spread the word, ect, yada yada.... If you know that there is a DRM-free version for sale but then turn around and buy a DRMed copy of it from somewhere else like Steam, Direct2Drive, ect... it just shows the companies that you don't hate DRM, you show them that you LOVE DRM and you loved it so much you would rather pay for a DRMed version of this game instead of the DRM-free one. And I have little to no doubt that this version will have an auto-update checker to see if its up to date so no stating "well I like using 'insert company's name" because it makes sure my copy is up to date. Hate DRM? Heres your chance to finally show that you would rather pay for a DRM-free copy of a brand new game or pay for a DRMed copy of a brand new game. Things like this will help shape what its going to be like for new games tomorrow.

I would of course buy it here if I didn't want the box... as it is though I hope I don't get screwed with DRM for buying the retail version.

Light-weight. Buy both ;-)
The Witcher was one of the best rpg's that I have played in years and the second looks really good.

trusteft: I couldn't care less for Namco or their new games.
Their last good game for me was Pole Position.
lolwut? Somebody has obviously never played Enslaved, Eternal Sonata, Soul Calibur, Tekken or the Tales Series

Or doesn't like them. I know it's deep, but consider it.

Shit man, the only one of those I know anything about is Tekken, and I don't care about it.

You have never heard of Soul Calibur? Seriously? It is considered by many to be the king of 3D fighting games.

As for Enslaved it is kind of like Jak II meets Uncharted meets God of War meets Dragon Ball (it is based off of the story that inspired the original Dragon Ball).

Eternal Sonata is a JRPG based on the classic composer Frédéric Chopin's final hours. He is on his death bed & you play through his dream world.

The Tales Series is my all time favorite RPG series. They are action JRPGs & I would be willing to bet that you have at least heard of its most popular US game.... Tales of Symphonia for the Gamecube. If not I would highly recommend the series if you are a fan of the Genre.... particularly Tales of Vesperia for the XBOX 360 & (soon to be) PS3.

To each there own I guess... you can't judge another person's taste & I don't intend to. All I am saying is that they make good games & I am surprised that you don't like any of those games. Namco is quite possibly my favorite publisher simply because of such titles.

That's good for you. I have no interest in their games and that's all I said.

Man, you are a confrontational little shit aren't you? Chill out, I'm not against you no matter how much you may think I am.

I didn't start this conversation with you and I definitely didn't call you any names.
You did, I don't know why, but I hope you relax.

You don't have to call names to be confrontational. It is more your attitude. Nevertheless, lets squash this shit before it gets out of control.

Yeah well... I don't play console games.
