Gersen: IMO it's a "micro" step, you don't need to be always online... but you still need to be online everytime you want to start the game. It's still much worse than Steam, Impulse or Securom online activation.
Yeah, it's certainly not going to make me start buying Ubisoft games. I don't know if it's enough for some folks who were already turned off by their DRM. Maybe they are trying to reduce needless support calls, guess I could have been wrong about them starting to pull their heads out.

That's the encore sale. But this year they already had the encore sale for games discounted during the first week. The encore sale this time, logically, will be games that were discounted during the second week.
