Unsure of the name but hoping some of you guys might be able to help me figure it out.

It came free with my 486 dx-66 back in the day on a CD
Game was very much like a kings quest style game (click the eye and then the onscreen display to "look at something")

I don't remember an overly large amount of the game but it started in a forest and was mainly set in a forest. I remember grabbing different gems for a quest and using them on a statue at one point. and talking to an old man in a ramshackle old house in the middle of the forest. Pretty much sounds like most of those games hahaha

I know it's really generic but I don't have much more information so If people can spit out some names I'll have a look around. I know I'll know it as soon as I hear the name.
The description only brought bards tale to mind but i doubt its that.

Any other info? Party based?

That really sounds like some king's quest what I played. But somebody must know, I mean.. Those fellows have known games with lesser details.. I myself can't help. All I can think now is king's quest. =)

Edit: but if it had an eye, it had to be some sierra-game. ^^ Well it might be.

Arteveld: How about Legend Of Kyrandia?
I haven't seen them in here, weird in some degree. Always wanted to play some of those. Are they freeware now? No? That sucks.

Seen what where?
Artveld, you are my hero.
That's the exact one I was after!
Thanks everyone, I honestly didn't think it would get solved so quickly!

That what she said. Kyrandia. 3 of those exists in this reality.. I remember some cover, it wasn't clown but close to it. Perhaps a jester. =)

You have a very convoluted way of communicating. There was a jester called Malcolm in the games, yes. The third game [Malcolm's Revenge] focuses on his character. I guess that's You're referring to, whatever the reason might be.;>
cYn described the first game, though. ;)

I would never describe myself easy (at least to understand, even if i spoke fluid english). I live in a weird world. Full of spikes and stuffed animals with melted faces.
