Meiji Restoration. It's a stand-alone expansion, apparently. Thoughts? I think it's an interesting companion piece to Rise of the Samurai. Also, I find it rather interesting that this is the latest, chronologically, Total War game.

Has it Tom Cruise in it?

Likely it will be as far as Creative Assembly go. It's likely the next game to get a 2 will be Rome: Total War.

I dunno, I could see them pushing into very, very early 20th century, around the first world war. I do expect Rome 2 to be coming up, if not next, very soon. Even if they do push into the Great War, it won't be their next game, I imagine.
I'd love to see them do either an early WWI era RTS game, or do something more original/off the wall.

I think it'd shake up things quite well if they jumped ahead and did an RTS that spanned multiple era's (IE rise of nations) but did it in such a way that you could go from early age (IE crude melee weapons) all the way to a pseudo futuristic style era.

I mean if not WWI, they have covered most all of the major era's of global war and things.
In response to the fans asking for blood in Total War games, Creative Assembly has released... The Blood Pack!

CA apparently doesn't go halfway. There's spurting blood, dismemberment, decapitations... you name it. I think they may be making fun of the people asking for blood in Total War games. I almost thought it was a joke at first.

Also, they released the Hattori Clan previously only in the Limited Edition of the game.
...and for some strange reason the blood pack is region locked and I can't buy it here in Austria. T.T

Aw, shit, yeah, sorry. Germany too, and Switzerland.

That's the reason blood isn't in Total War to begin with. They said on twitter DLC enables them to offer it as an optional extra while not affecting the age rating of the base game.
Holy Gory! The blood pack sure cranks up the goriness a notch. It's a bit more realistic now when after the end of the battle units don't look like they went to sleep a bit. Nope, now it's unmistakably a death ripper fest.
