I've recently found Kreator's Phantom Antichrist video amusing. Kreator's really made a come back, but the video is awkwardly cliche and ham fisted so it strikes me as unintentionally ironic/funny for such a catchy song. I give you the "best worst" metal video!

Slayer and the like were cool, but the first time I heard Slowly we rot, I was like that muisic is awesome but why the fuck is he growling like that?? A few weeks later I bought the CD, and a month after that I saw them play live at the City Limits near Pittsburgh. They were doing the soundcheck and started letting some of us into the show. I was there with 2 friends. THe guy comes to the front door is starts yelling at the guy who is letting us in that they are not ready. so I grabbed my friends hands thrust the money in his face and hold up our hands for him to stamp...he looks at me like fuck dude I am going to get fired, then slowly stamped all three of our hands, took my money, and said alright we will open the doors again in a bit.

So there we are 25 fans in the place, John Tardy of Obituary is sitting on the floor with presumably his girlfriend shilling. THe drummer was doing his soundcheck the other guys were milling about the place, shooting pool with the guys from Sepultura. I went over and got them all to sign my badass army jacket that was worn by my father during the VIetnam conflict. Best show ever they talked to us for like 45 minutes until they were ready to open the doors again. City Limits was cool because there was no backstage, so all of the bands were right there on the side after performing. I talked to many cool peeps and shit over the years there.
