Do what I'm doing: Play through them all in alphabetical order. That way you don't have problem choosing or finding yourself switching between games halfway through. That way you might also play some less popular games and learn to appreciate them.

So that would be... Alpha Protocol (Great game) followed by Amnesia and And Yet it Moves.

Well I'm playing Morrowind right now with MSGO so I'll go ahead and recommend that.

But I do admit Trevorish makes some sense with his suggestion.

I already modded Morrowind with MGSO but it ended like Oblivion....I modded it and then didnt play it. But I guess I could give it a shot...or alpha protocol :D

I know :( I am horrible person who cant decide....dammit :(
Wow Detlik. I'm not even joking around...you have the same exact problem I do except my list might be a bit longer and I also have been collecting some vintage console stuff. It is not a good situation to be in when you have a few minutes to buy but no time to play.
I have ther same problem here buy to many games and then when i finish one not sure what to play although i useually go for what i feel like if its an rpg go for one or a fps then go for that one.

One i would go for is saints row 2 although it is not the greatest port on the pc it is a fun game and some of the bugs in it are funny as heck seeing bodies bounce or cars doing some strange things.

So any other tips on epic story/ feel wise games?
I'm lurking around these forums precisely because I can't decide what to start/finish in my backlog either :(

I'm looking at 7 games in this weekends sale and thinking "yeh, gotta buy them, they're on my wishlist and they are on sale!" But that'll just make the problem worse. Damn GOG and Steam and their sales.

Maybe they should have an option, lets call it the "mother option" ... "No, you can't download THAT one until you've finished playing the one you've got!"
Be a man and play Gothic 2, as I am doing right now.
Let me know if you need starter tips.

Gothic I was a very tough game.
Gothic II substantially reduced the difficulty (but it was nevertheless above average tough).
Gothic II: NOTR (which is included in the Gold edition) changed the difficulty to brutal. Even though I've finished this game many times, I'm still having the occasional "What the?! But how am I supposed to..?!" moment every once in a while.
Most walkthroughs are pretty useless, so if you decide to play, PM me and I'll give you some tips on how to get on the right path! :)
If you haven't played Fallout 1 and 2 start with those!
They are the best RPGs ever made and I've finished them both several times!
Vampire Bloodlines is also good, same with Gothic 2 (NOTR is incredibly hard but so rewarding, it's a game you feel everything you do matters and the game is quite different depending which faction you choose, etc)
Neverwinter Nights 2 is also worth playing, the start is slow and boring, but it gets pretty epic after awhile.

@Detlik I totally understand your predicament. Can I suggest you sign up to The Backloggery?

http://backloggery.com/

This will help you manage your backlog and perhaps giving you a chance at finishing all your games..... eventually.....
with so many games in your list.. why don't you put them on randomize in Excel.
