people who refuse to purchase a console due to some ridiculous sense of "platform loyalty" are missing out on great games, some of the greatest this generation, in fact. and isn't that what we should be concerned with? great games?
1) They hog titles for their console only (they are the ones playing politics there)
2) You have to buy a console for gaming only (redundant when I already have a general purpose machine that can play games)
3) They take a middleware fee on all the games that come out of their console, ensuring that you'll never see prices drop below a certain amount.
In the end, my funds are limited and I don't want to clutter my home and the environment with needless hardware.
I want games that are not platform specific (PC), I want one device to conquer them all (PC) and I want my games as efficient and cheap as possible (PC).
Cut out the hardware middleman and his stupid royalty fees on software already.
Hardware manufacturers should make money off selling hardware, not by gouging and holding hostage software companies that make software compatible with their hardware.
