Odd, I don't recognize that as a forum regular's name or anything (could be a relatively inactive user). Really odd that someone would ask you to reply on the forums. Did he/she send it to the e-mail address you used to register with GOG?

And yes it came to my gog email address......but then again, i also listed that address on the wishlist so everyone has it by now.

Actually, it can affect your rep, it just takes a whole hell of a lot of negative votes to do it. One or two douchebags hitting your posts/threads for no reason can't do much (except "hide" your posts), but a lot of them could.

I don't know if there's any way knowing your registered e-mail account could be used to exploit your GOG account, but if it were me, I'd change it to another e-mail address and change the password, just to be on the safe side.

i'm fine....the password is so long and complicated there's no chance they'd be able to guess it quick or brute force it right away
