Yeah, I know it's one of those free-to-play dealies where they nickel-and-dime you to be the best, but you can get away with playing much of it for free, and the game is actually kind of addicting.

Free-to-play? I played it when it was a BETA version because it was free, but when the game got released, they charged 50$~ a year for playing... Have they reverted to F2P ??

Edit> clicked and... yes!! Seems to be back to F2P, with paying options of course. I had to check what I can do and what I can't in F2P mode, but this looks promising. And my account is still active, meaning I won't have to start another character from scratch! Yay!!

No problem. I wonder how long NFS Online will be in pay mode before they switch to the Tiger Woods/Battlefield Heroes model of Free2Play.
