What im saying is, Please GoG!! Get Tie fighter or X-Wing!!!
These games are from Dos era and was some of the best games i ever had the pleasure of playing on par with freespace!

any of you guys remember Tie fighter? was one of the coolest stories and mission layouts ever.

And it was only made better by the mission editor. Made many a campaign for TIE over the years.

Sadly it all rests on lucasarts waking up to the fact that they can make more money out of selling old games that noone can buy anymore than they lose to the piracy of old games that noone can buy anymore

That, or hoping for Telltale to make remakes....

I think an in-house remake is more likely. I wouldn't trust Lucasarts to make a good, original game anymore. But they might just be able to give those games an overhaul without reducing them to 2 short hours of one-button-does-all gameplay.
