Let the rant against GOG staff for not posting this info in the forums begin.

DCT: If there using the 3dfx version then you need a 3dfx wrapper then they need to us a DOSbox variant similar to the one they used for Tomb Raider 1 in the Tomb Raider 1+2+3 set, and you need to play with the setting to find the optimal settings to play the game and make sure it runs on all the test machines and all that not to mention having to play and test any other releases.
This man speaks truth.
I have the same keyboard/headphones. Can HIGHLY recommend them both for anyone shopping.

Logitech g19 and g930.

Both are AMAZING!!!!! (X many more exclamation marks). if you have 7.1 headphones, this is a pretty neat little vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aU6UMz7wNiE

But I went naga for the mouse :p

I'm happy the Morrowind poster covers up the Red Faction poster... but I bet they are a mislead. Simpsons Road Rage will come out first :p

Starkrun: I'm more interested in why i see a Morrowind(?) map and a Red Faction poster....
Actually, that's a map from the Age of Conan and a Red Dead Redemption poster.
Before you ask, that doesn't mean that this is a hint towards a new release ;)

unless this game just happens to be unusually difficult to get to run right it shouldn't actually take that long. thanks to DOSBOX and Glide wrappers old games can be made compatible with modern systems in a few minutes. then it's just a matter of experimenting with the (rather limited) CPU and graphics settings.

i do it all the time with games that aren't on GOG, and i don't know anything about the deeper workings of DOSBOX. so how hard could it be?

Yeah because getting it to run on one machine is the same as making sure it runs on multiple machines and setups..

Look you rather have it now and have it work on half or even less then half of peoples machines or would you rather have something that should work on at least the majority of users machines?

Thought so.

Oh wait I forgot this is the internet and "people" will still find something to complain about like there some sort of expert on the subject....

SimonG: Sooooo, with my very limited technical knowledge having no idea on how well Dosbox works with this game...

How long does it take them to put it in a DosBox wrapper?

FraterPerdurabo: I tried getting the win 95 version working on 7 and it was a bloody nightmare. Never managed. Didn't try it on dosbox though.
I did it, it was relatively easy, but the Splat Pack was almost impossible. They may have a huge problem with that.
