Tormentfan: How come your native res is 16:9 but you run it at 16:10?

GameRager: The game res list lists both 16:9 16:10 resolutions to pick from...the one below 1440x900 is too low res for me and the one above it runs too slow.

I ran it in 1920x1080 once and I got maybe 8 fps with everything on high......it might be my video card though. It's a 4670, w DDT3< I want a 5xxx series someday with ddr5.
hmm, turn off the framerate buffer effect if u want a good improvement in fps

Tormentfan: Maybe try 1680*1050 then, that's in between.
I tried it....still too slow. Considering i'd rather have maximum graphical advanced settings than resolution in this case(ive tried both high res low/mid other settings and mod res and high other settings).

I think in Metro2033 you can only turn all the graphical options up and down as a group(high/med/low) rather than customize each one via the menu.....unless there's a settings file I can change in the folder somewhere.

well with metro if u want good fps u will need low res around 800x600 then u will get amazing fps or better than usal

Yeah but in 800x600 on a big monitor the picture looks shitty. I could choose between high res/low video settings and low res/high video settings.

I picked the latter....and found that below 1680x1050(1440x900 or so) plays ok. It's just stranges as my pc is pretty good though. I'm gonna look for that framerate buffer settting later.
