Well, I just remembered this site - I've heard of it in the past, but never really used it (except to grab Empire Earth when it was free for a day...). Tonight however, I went on a nostalgia kick, and wanted to see if it was possible to find those great ol' games from years past. Lo and behold, I've found practically every game that I was looking for, and some that I'd forgotten about...
I just gotta say, a huge thank you to the team that runs/maintains this GoG.com!

Looking at the title, I entered this thread expecting a link to Breaking Bad, True Blood, Falling Skies and Mad Men downloads, and instead got a legit thread :O

Nah, this is an actual appreciation thread for GoG...basically for clarification of my first post - I was originally trying to track down Caesar 3. Second result on google was well...you guessed it, GoG.com.

Decided to check the rest of the catalog of games...must say, I was floored that I could actually get a copy of Lords of The Realm that would work with my computer, along with Zeus + Poseidon, Pharoah + Cleopatra, etc...
Haven't purchased anything yet, but as soon as I get me some moneys, there will be a good nostalgic games session to enjoy...

Lords of the Realm 2 is awesome. Lost countless of hours to it, with no regrets. I also recommend Space Rangers 2 if you enjoy top-down RPGs. Excellent game, that.

All I can say is I agree wholeheartedly.

Lords of the Realm 2 is one of my favorite games ever, and I haven't played it in years - the Royal Edition is sure to be among my first purchases. Space Rangers 2 sounds familiar, but I know that I never played it...will be sure to check it out.

I think the thing that makes this site so awesome, is that they even have seemingly obscure games (at least, I think that they are obscure....might be that they are really popular games) such as Gangland, which was a game that I always wanted to play, but never got.

The only way that they could make this catalog better, in my opinion, would be to include some of the Gary Grigsby Battlegrounds series of games, or 12 O'Clock High - some of those games would be awesome to play again.
