I have been searching for a game for a long time and i forgot the name of it. the internet doesn't seem to know about it. but i know this game existed.

The only thing i remember about it, is that you spend the whole game in a cockpit aboard a ship that can travel backward, and forward in time. all you see is the console, the view screen, and two gloved hands. both are controlled by the mouse if you go to the right or left of the console.You are trying to help out a bunch of different alien civilizations, from being wiped out by one powerful race that is spreading across the entire galaxy. you play as this "average guy" who was snatched form his mundane job to save the galaxy.

It is not commander blood, and so far i have not found its name, and nobody seems to know what I'm talking about. if you know please tell me the name of it. thanks.

That's odd, because from your description, I was certain you meant Commander Blood - or perhaps Captain Blood, its predecessor, of which I don't know much. Odd ...

Got a year? Was it Windows? DOS? Another system?

I have already checked that list. in fact i check back from time to time to see if somebody has added it. nobody has yet. Mid 90's early windows, like 95 or even 3.1 possibly even 98. No it had better graphics, and you could see gloved hands. the gloves look like space suit gloves, and the console was darker themed. that is why i made it absolutely clear that it was not commander blood.

Wait, i remember now. It's "Future Wars: Adventures in Time". Yeah, you're a window cleaner or something and you travel through time...

Nope. You never see more than the back of the main characters upper torso, and his hands. and the graphics were better. good try though. it wasn't an adventure game in the style of kings quest either.
