Given its success on XBox 360 they'd be fairly insane to not do a DA:O Awakenings scale DLC/expac. Provided it's well done I don't see how it wouldn't do very well (on both XBox 360 and PC, I mean).

I hope so. I wish the best for CDPR and I remember they promised more DLCs and a big expansion (they said DLCs are free, expansions are paid) if the game succeeds.

Well duh. Besides, Sapkowsi is ridiculously good in creating believable characters. You read a single sentence about an unimportant side character and you suddenly feel like he's got actual, robust personality.

That sounds like how Roger Zelazny could convey the entire sense of a city to you in a single sentence or two. That man was a master. I puke when I read these Robert Jordan wannabes, Robert Jordan himself was bad enough!

It's too bad it's a closed beta until next year. If I ran CDPR, I'd just release it as an open beta, set up a bugtracking system along the lines of what Bohemia Interactive does with Arma 2, and post new builds as needed.

I was referring to actual series of comics, a practice which is quite prevalent with fantasy novels. EG, there are ongoing publications of comics for Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series and George R. R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series. The art is awesome and really adds to the story, especially if you read the novels first. Still, if noone wants to do a relatively easy task of translating the books into English, I suppose there isn't much hope for a comic. *sigh* How difficult is Polish to learn? ;)
