HampsterStyle: Actually a quick peak on the tech specs on the Alienware site would reveal that it's not BS. As Miaghstir has already pointed out these mobos have been on the market. Alienware specializes in high-end hardware and wouldn't ship out a budget OS on that hardware without at least informing the customer that 8GB of their RAM would be not be usable unless they chose Pro or Ultimate. Hence my comment on your original assumption.

GameRager: I made a mistake then, which I based upon thinking triple channel meant like 3 slots which would be impossible with 24gb as there are no 8GB ram sticks on the mass market. A simple misundertanding then.

Sitll, do you really need that much ram? I'd sell half of it and use the money for more worthwhile upgrades......
i got ultimate also, the ram is future proving
Well i managed to fix the game by taking out most of the ram Thanks to
Everyone to replyed +1 to all when i get the time lol

Future proofing would be buying maybe 8 gb of ram now, and adding more as time went on as prices dropped. 8GB would have future proofed you for a few years or more, and by then you couldve bought the other 8-16gb at cheaper prices and better speeds.
