not really... it looks like a typical pay to win game to me... all you get with backing is some ingame currency that you can spend for boosts and weapons.
No thanks.

...
so this is the new WoT game that Obsidian is reportedly co-developing?
...
Hm, call me skeptical. This sounds like an extremely ambitious project, possibly too ambitious for those guys, if they want to go all the way from mobile apps up to AAA games with this.
This Kickstarter will have to pick up considerably, if they want to do this. They seriously need to activate the fanbase, or those initial $ 450,000 might prove too much already.

No thanks.
No chance this will get funded. It's already 3 days in and they've only made 700 bucks. Plus, the Jordan books are huge, so will translate very poorly to a game. Would give this one a wide berth, whether it was funded or not.

Well... back in 2009, word on the street was:
"Electronic Arts will distribute Red Eagle Games' upcoming line of games inspired by Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time book series."
Hmm, three years later and now they're trying to drum up money for it? Doesn't seem very promising.
