carlosjuero: Well, if I manage to scrape up some cash sometime soon I will think about getting this game. Will probably end up having to pay full price of course since I have no idea when I will have spare money, but it might be worth it if a good GoG group can be got together to play a bit.

fursav: I still have a copy left to give
Oh? I thought all the copies were gone. If ya feel generous I wouldn't mind trying it out, steam nick is the same as here.
Anyone online? I'm gonna go play now. I'll check out the tutorial first, though.

gameon: Most of the guilt is because i got a free game, but i said i didnt like it. Makes me look kind of spoilt/ungrateful. :(
Let's see:
1) You wouldn't have taken it if you knew you didn't like it
2) You didn't complain that you got a game you didn't like
3) You didn't demand another game

You are so far away from looking spoiled or ungrateful, trust me.

Kids who complain that the car their parents brought them isn't quite the right shade of red? They are spoiled and ungrateful.

gameon: lol, thanks xyem. I try to be honest and decent about things. I do have a conscience.
Just make sure you stay that way :)

The car thing particularly annoys me because I still randomly thank my parents for letting me buy their car off them because I don't think they appreciate how much I appreciate it!

Anyway, on topic, I think I shall attempt to play some Ship tonight.. if it works in Linux.. as I was gifted it this morning :)

Interesting game - played some Single Player today and managed to die by contracting a disease [I used the colonoscopy bag by mistake which drove my hygiene need to max, then didn't get to a shower in time].

Also found my first "mark" sitting outside of my state room sleeping on a couch - easiest kill ever ;)
I have played the game for a while now and I must say it just feels like there is not enough to do or ways to do it.
I've also got a copy of The Ship to give out. Reply to my post to get it.

Edit: all copies given out.

Played it a bit, it's pretty fun and certainly unique. My only complaints would be that a. There should be a penalty for taking out a weapon in a roomfull of crowded people (or at least for killing someone in a crowded room) and b. There should be a more severe penalty for randomly killing (but not in self defense, of course). It'd be cool if you could set traps and make other crafty ways of killing enemies as well. Still, pretty cool game.
The game looks like a lot of fun, but I'm worried I won't be able to play properly with my crappy connection.

Agreed. People were saying this game is like mafia but it's really not. It would be much better if it emphasized secrecy. Right now it's just people running around looking for their target and then immediately wacking him/her unless in a safe zone. Perhaps, they could make the location of the murder more important. If you kill in a corridor, cops will start looking for you once they find the body. But if you kill in a room, you should be okay, unless a passenger finds the body.

I would LOVE to get a copy! I've probably looked at EVERY let's play, gameplay, and review video on the internet, and I would love to buy it, but I don't have the money.
