Hey All,

I like what the trade thread is and it's very useful and awesome. But it seems to me we need a different thread for trading the cheap little games we all get in bundles for OTHER cheap little games we all get in bundles.

How often have you bought a bundle only to not want half of it? OR in my case. only 1 title? Or DIDN'T buy one because you only wanted one title.

I'd like to set these following "rules"

1- List 10 or less haves/wants each... we want to keep posts here small enough to read quickly.
2- List only FIRST or SECOND tier bundled games as WANTS (do what you will with haves)
3- try to use more recent titles as HAVES (if possible)
4- feel free to link your trading thread list, but don't post the list here (again we want to keep this short)
5- Protect yourself... MOST people aren't going to rip you off for a game that was bundled for a buck or three, but at least be aware of whom you are trading with.
6- (open to suggestion if needed)

Here is my current list (use this format if possible)

HAVE:
- Echo of the Wilds (steam)
- Operation: Flashpoint- dragon rising (steam)
-Operation Flashpoint:- Red River (steam)
-Swipecart (steam)

WANT:
-Rise of Flight DLC (except "furious wings")
-Mafia 2 (steam)
-Universe Sandbox (steam)
-Tropico 4 (steam)

My Trade list : HERE
Eh. Too many trade threads these days...

I get you, but I disagree because...

This is more of a niche one though... specifically catering to people who bought a bundle and have left overs and at the same time missed something or didn't buy because most of the titles didn't appeal to them, but they wished they could get just that one title that did.

OR they missed a bundle completely (as I did with the RoF back in march)

I think it's useful to us people that do the bundle deals, but know the lower end titles will just sit on their trade lists for a long time...

I'm one of those people, and I don't think that this thread is a good idea.

We already have a trade thread. Ghettoizing one particular form of trading games by separating it from others is not going to improve the results. Furthermore, we should be aware that these forums are not meant for trading games, it's just something that GOG kindly tolerates. If every subgroup of traders creates their own thread, we'll just create mess. And there is no reason why the particular subgroup of "people who buy bundles and want to exchange duplicates" should be treated differently than other subgroups like "People who only trade Steam games", "People who only trade DRM-free games", "People who only trade old games", etc. Now imagine that everyone of these subgroups deems it a good idea to create their own thread.
Well, clearly if no one sees the need it will die.

But if you've ever tried to just do a quick trade for something in a current or recent bundle you might know how nauseating it is to try to trek through someone's trade list that is 200+ games that they haven't bothered to alphabetize! (and it's not just ONE list like that it's 50)

I only realized this the other night when I was basically forced to spam 2-3 threads.

LOL - I don't do trades, but once in a while I'll glance at the trade lists out of curiosity (usually just curious to see how many games people have to trade or to see if there's some game I've not heard of that may be interesting). Anyway, I don't understand why people don't alphabetize - even if they didn't do it perfectly, at least keep games grouped by the same first letter. Those random lists of dozens of games I just skip. Way too hard to read.

I posted a link for an alphabetizer in a thread that I don't feel like looking up, but I think it's also linked in my trade list... it's REALLY easy if you already have a list, just copy/paste it and hit alphabetize.
I have to think many people skip those laboriously long lists like that too... I often will.
I don't get it either, but I think I appreciate Cyberevil's thought... just one trade thread is all I need.
I like this idea of a specific thread for the "little" indie games.
You wouldn't want to trade your spare copy of Bioshock 2 for One Day for Ched.
But you would trade One Day for Ched for iBomber.

Also to start off.

Have:

- Ice Cream Surfer (Desura)

Ice Cream Surfer (Desura)
Pressured (Steam & Desura)
Mata Hari (Steam)
Konung 2 (Steam)
Konung 3: Ties of the Dynasty (Steam)
God Mode (Steam)
Speedball 2 HD (Steam)
El Matador (Steam)
Perimeter (Steam)
The Culling of the Cows (Steam)
Labyrinthine Dreams (Steam)
Sweet Lily Dreams (Steam)
The Chaos Engine (Steam)
