I utterly despise Facebook. When I think of Facebook, it makes me hate the existence of the Internet.

Yes. It's an information network that's hard to control for the evil control freaks in companies and governments and still a piece of freedom and truth, but is censored more and more in many countries (including mine).
If not enough people care, the Internet as we know it will be gone in 10-15 years of time.
This would be sad, because it definitely enriched my life.
I don't participate in abominations it has spawned like Facebook, Clouds, Origin, Uplay, etc...
Cancer can grow everywhere, it's how you deal with it.

Every once in a while I deliberately go out of my usual habits and visit very different bars to see if anyone wants to make contact only to notice that others take their cocoons with them in form of smartphones or their usual clique who doesn't know them very well but are enough to prevent from trying to make a real new contact that is not motivated by mating habits. Exceptions confirm the rule. Sad times.
