phandom: Beer is a good choise. You relax with a beer.
So to anyone who may be wondering, my image above is on the cover of "Introduction to Logistics". It is already printed and is currently being distributed to the technical schools of my homealnd..... (I'm really proud that one of my images made it to the cover......)
Bummer! You did do a good job. I actually was going to post something after the 10 minute autoedit mark on my post, but logged out. Logged in and just made my way here to post for you!

I did think it was an economics / transport book, perhaps a text but more likely something written to inform the interested "casual" or lay person. A "global world global product" type. So not too far off!
I don't really care for any of the prizes right now, but here's a puzzling masterpiece
Not in but thanks for the giveaway Klumpen0815, nice to see a second round. As it so happens I just flew to Berlin earlier this month for a couple days so here's a painting I made there, it's Knut the World's most famous polar bear. Sadly, he died before I could visit him at the zoo so now I had to visit him at the museum where he is on display as a stuffed bear. My wish to paint him came true, even if not in the way I would have wished. Nevertheless, I feel grateful for the opportunity.

R.I.P. Knut, you died way too young!

Oh, you came to my town, I could have given you access to some excellent live music, on the 11th I played with my hurdy-gurdy and drums at my regular accoustic folk session (French, Swedish and German dancing tunes) and on the 20th my favourite arab-folk/jazz crossoverband played for free in a small church.

You are from Berlin itself? I just mentioned Berlin because I know you're from Germany, well this is unfortunate as I surely would have liked to listen to your instrumental performance.
I saw a group of musicians playing bagpipe and drums between the Gedächtniskirche and the Europacenter and that was on the 11th as well in the early evening and they were dressed in medieval garb, maybe that were friends of yours?
Perhaps I should check the forums before I go anywhere to see if there are any local Goglodytes there but I've tried that before and then one finds out about local members only after one has already returned. Anyway, I have friends in Berlin and plan to go again next year because there is plenty of interesting things to paint in the area so there will be another chance to say hi, hopefully.

Here's the painting of the Gedächtniskirche (Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church) from that day. It's tragic that the church got destroyed in a bomb raid back in WW2 and only the spire still stands today, with most of the roof missing. It's coincidence that I painted the Memorial Church on September 11th, the commemorative date of another bomb attack.

Grimwerk has won, but since Landerils poem seems so heartfelt, I make it two winners.
Hopefully the woman is real and doesn't change her mind.

Choose your game, Grimwerk.

That's generous of you, Klumpen, but I'm just contributing for the fun of it. I should have made that clear in both my posts. Sorry if I've messed things up at all.

And thanks for the art threads, I'm enjoying them.

Oh right, I only looked at your last post today, I'm quite ill atm.
The more thanks for your contributions.

Aww, I'm sorry to hear that :( I hope that you feel MUCH better soon!

Congratulations to you Landerils!

I hope that the next time this kind of contest comes up, there will be more participants!

Thanks, it took a while but is certainly better now, I still have to get rid of a wisdom tooth for the first time in my life though...yay....

So, does anybody else want to do create the third round of this giveaway?
I'd actually like to participate myself next time (haven't yet decided on with what though).

Yes! Absolutely! I too have nothing on my mind and almost zero free time but another round would great!

And I hope you feel better after getting rid of it (the most useless teeth that a human has)

If nobody wants to do the next round until the first of November, I may be the host for the November round again, but then I won't contribute art myself of course.
