"1. The skies erupt"

Cleansing and purging!
Spinning in the dark and light
Exiting away unloved

"2. The banks overflow"

Plummeting the dark path!
Sifting around with its ilk
Winnowing through a sieve

"3. Vent and disappear"

The gates shudder open!
The heavens beckon return
The light burns change

And that's how to explain the water cycle in three haiku.

In for genkicolleen, though if we can't stack votes then I'm out.

Oh, and by the way, another +1 for the thread. Very nice.
Go creativity, go!

A BUMP for creativity! ^__^
Regular weekend reminder.
Firstly, thank you for creating such an inspiring giveaway.
I believe many more people would participate, if they had the time to create something.
I'd like to be in for "The Whispered World".

I don't know if this qualifies as art, but I have attached the image I made for a book cover.
Basically it's vectors and if you can guess the title of the book by the image only, I'll be very happy, since that would mean I managed to convey the right message.
Here goes:

This is your average weekly reminder, maybe more people want to create something this weekend. ;)

That's why I give them a month, it worked in the first run.

Crossposting from the Draw and Guess the game! thread again.

I enjoy your art threads, Klumpen, even if I see them as a rough reminder that an entire month has passed and I have little to show for it!

Does anyone care to guess for what book is my image for? I'm really curious to see if it's accurate.....

I have no idea, but I probably don't even know the book if it's less than 100 years old.

Not In!

Just saw this thread, and as a few wanted to see the Pilsner from my previous post with a bit more time on gas, here's the beer, one month later! The first picture didn't come out that great, but you can see the vastly improved head. And in the second picture, those wonderful little bubbles of CO2 are still pumping their way through the beer, even after me taking several quaffs ;)

LOL it's only fair that my picture made you want a beer, as it was your thread here that caused me to go out and have one ;) I figured "What the heck, long weekend, gorgeous beginning-of-Fall Friday afternoon and then I can finally get around to posting the newer pictures... why not?"
If this is still up, I'd like to enter for ArcaniA with my poetry.

Saving Grace

Once, before the endless night,
I had walked in the light,
But soon I fell
slipping from the path, into Hell
With the burning pain,
of Heavens Bane
I had thought I would never recover,
I felt for no other
Then She came,
The woman who broke my chains,
with her touch, a smille took my face,
her voice made my very knees shake
I knew at once
This woman that came
saw me not as a man who fell
but as a man yet to rise
with her strength, i recovered
I tell you now, I am back
I walked once more into the Light,
No longer alone, no longer hurt
For beside me, through it all,
Walked my saving grace
