Thanks for the reply! I really like metroidvanias, but I dislike permadeath, too much randomness and frustratingly hard challenges. Most roguelikes I play and enjoy only for a short time before losing interest in them, so it sounds like it wouldn't be worth the BTA for me.

I think I'll get the bundle for Tower of Guns. It appears to be Race The Sun as FPS and I really like Race The Sun. :-)

I got the BTA bundle, but I don't know any of these games except Amnesia 2, which I wasn't THAT interested in, and Shadowrun, which I hear the DLC is way better.
Here's hoping for something better in week 2.

I wonder if week 2 would bring Dragonfall to the 12$ tier. That would totally make that tier worth it. I already have both of them so I'm not buying that tier, but that would be awesome.

As for the bundle as a whole. I think its a good bundle, but with the repeats I can't call it a great bundle.

Personally, I doubt so. So far, the second week of all bundles has only added games to the BTA tier.

ToG is a very, very good game. I would not say it is Race The Sun as FPS (at all...), but it is a very good game.:)
Race the sun is quite serene, in its own way, it is relaxing as much as anything else and the player is processing with a trial and error approach, learning the levels. ToG is hyper active, room based procedural FPS, working very much more on a spatial level then any other FPS (rogue-lite or not) around.

I think this is a descent bundle. It may not be the greatest HiB ever, but it is still quite good. Will be interesting to see what comes next week.

Yeah. no way Dragonfall will be added, the game was released recently (as a standalone) and they're counting that some people will buy it because they've enjoyed SR Returns.

Like stg83 said, i'm counting that it will be added some repeats or something really weak.

The Novelist and Eldritch, not bad additions, not bad at all. The Novelist looks particularly interesting, at least in concept, if not execution...

Is this one of the very rare occasions with HIB where not all of the revealed BTA games are repeats? :-)

Guess i was wrong, The Novelist looks amazing, Eldritch some people like it (i already have it and it was... ok) and TFS:MBA looks like Gish (?).

Figures I just got Eldritch and Mutant Blobs elsewhere over the last few days. /shakes fist

I think so, it is a welcome surprise as I am sure The Novelist hasn't been bundled before. :)
