timppu: Woohoo! Even though I didn't win in yesterday's Finnish lottery (12 million euros, two lucky persons got it, 6mil each)), I did get today a megahuge summer bonus from my employer! Which means I can definitely afford to buy the ASUS G75 now, even without resorting to my credit cards. Heck, I could easily afford at least two, even after jettisoning my earlier credit dept. I was unsure if and when the bonus would come, which could have jeopardized my cunning plans.

And, at least one shop still seems to have a couple of G75s available, so I think I'll place my order there right away. I would have preferred to just go pick one up from some store though, easier to smuggle in to my home that way without my gf noticing it, but very few places seem to carry it without having to order online.

Dang, soon I would be able to run Witcher 2, Metro 2033, Crysis 1-2 etc. in (at least close to) their full glory. "Would be", because I am unsure if I will really do that other than for a show, as I am still busy playing older games on my older PCs.

But I know that if I don't buy it now, that extra money will magically dissolve into thin air anyway over a couple of months...

timppu: I bought it from Steam for a couple of bucks mainly as a graphical benchmark for my new computer, as I've understood it is quite demanding game for the hardware, even if it is a couple of years old already.

But if it is also a good game, all the better! :)
