It's a third-person RTS game. You control your wizard like you would control a character in an action game, but you also use him to summon buildings and units. It has one the greatest voice-acting in any game, ever, with professional actors like Brad Garret(Everybody Loves Ray), Tim Curry(Rocky Horror Picture Show), Jennifer Hale(Baldur's Gate, Mass Effect). It has one of the best original soundtracks ever made, composed by Kevin Manthei. The storyline is brilliant, it was written by James Phinney, who was lead designer and producer for Starcraft. And that's just the tip of the iceberg...

Looks good. "Sacrifice places little emphasis on resource gathering and management. There is no system of workers" thank god for that...

Watch out, my GOG sacrifice game is unplayable on my desktop (strong specs)windows 7 64... Tried it yesterday... lags a-lot virtually unplayable.

Maybe you can get past the tutorial... I just can't :/ And I don't think my pc specs are to blame.

Well it doesn't work for me.

Go to graphics options and disable "use bump detail maps". If that doesn't work, try lowering the resolution.

1. I think the most awesome games on GOG are Lands of Lore, Betrayel Series and Simon the Sorcerer.
