I have a question, (just wondering) how many employees are at GOG?

gameon: Its just a bit of fun. N0x0ss is just trying to gather info and make it fun. Especially for new users. He's not harming anyone, plus a mod is getting involved in the fun.

TheJoe: FUN?

WHO IS HAVING FUN ON MY WATCH?

TURN YOUR SMILE UPSIDE DOWN RIGHT THIS INSTANT.
The pic is all you need.

JudasIscariot: I'll be happy to answer some questions for the GOG Chronicles. (Specific game related stuff not included though and Game X is not coming, sorry guys! :D)

N0x0ss asks:

You were one of us, and was elevated to the rank of god. Do you have certain obligations regarding what you could post back then/ how you could react but can't anymore, as to maintain a good image of the GOG staff ??
If so,do you miss that bit of freedom you don't have anymore ?

Do you see members differently ?

Answer:

I still feel like one of you guys in a way. One doesn't just forget their roots, so to speak :D. I do feel the need to watch my words only because text without the accompanying body language, and anything else used in face-to-face communication, is very easy to misinterpret. As far as "that bit of freedom" goes, I think it's a fair trade for a job that I go to not because I have to but because I actually want to. I always wanted to work in the games industry and I am grateful for the opportunity. Also, I wouldn't call me a god or anything, if you read my user name :P. How about "rank of GOG" ? :D

Do I see users differently? No, not really. Still the classy rapscallions you guys always were. And I mean "rapscallions" in a good way :D

Gameon asks:

How has your work been at GOG (how are you settling in). Has it been a steep learning curve?

Do you miss being surprised by new game releases?

Are you the new forum manager?

Answer:

I feel like I am settling in quite well so far. It's not too steep since my co-workers are very helpful and understanding if I need to ask a question and I haven't been swamped with information on my first day. It's more of a gradual learning curve where I have time to assimilate new information and actually practice using what I have learned before a new concept is brought in.

Not really since I still have that surprise but it's been changed just a leetle beet :D. Now, I get surprised by what games we acquire the rights to sell.

No, I am not the new forum manager.

Is it true that you're all chained to your desks, with Thiev cracking the whip at you?

I already picked the lock holding my chain and Thiev is in a different room so her rumored whip can't reach that far :P

Hmmmm, I thought I answered the working at GOG question(s) earlier. Perhaps you have a specific thing in mind? Let me know :D.

As to the other question, I am still too new to be able to answer that and I haven't had the time to ask since my job at GOG takes up most of my time. Sorry :(.

Also, I'll go ahead and stop for now since I seem to have inadverently hogged this thread :P.
