When did they decide that there wasn't going to be a Darkness 3? Apart from the FOV issue, which they thankfully later fixed, I thought it was a fairly well received game.

The immediate, heavy discounts are usually a bad sign for the continuation of a franchise. Exceptions probably exist, that's just what I tend to notice.
