I'm also in for Lugum, and I also thought of this example. Sage, I heard it the same way. I still think that he may have said what we all thought he did. Maybe it was an accident, or maybe he made sure the official lyrics said something different just to make sure they'd play it on the radio. That could have been an issue back then!

How about Louis, Louis? Everybody liked to make up their own versions because nobody knew what the words were. Bloom County had a great comic that used this like a Rorschach test for political candidates...

That is a really good one! And now I am listening to it on YouTube and wondering if bras were made to make you look like you had a small traffic cone under your shirt or was this a bit in the bra-less movement. Damn YT I go there for one thing and then a hour later I am 6 subjects removed.
